Let us leave a Legacy of our past - A Benefit to the Future

This website has been created as a testament of our pride in our high school and the people we shared our lives with during those four (and formative) years. The Reunion Committee has persevered through sixty years to bring us together at various points in our lives for fun, memories, and camaraderie. Some years probably have been better than others; some years were probably tedious or terrible. Hopefully, there were more times with the sun shining than there were with storm clouds bursting with thunder.

There is a phrase that captures a magnificient thought: "May there be enough clouds in your life to create a beautiful sunset." Personally, I prefer sunrises.

I had hoped that our Class of "64 could put together an endowment fund that would endure for year, but that concept should have been born as we graduated. This "late" it would be hard to amass enough funds for us to enjoy a history of giving through scholarships and/or teacher grants.

You canstill help the District with such programs through the Amphitheater Educational Foundation in order to create a "beautiful, Arizona Sunrise" for students and/or teachers so they too may have a chance to enjoy what we shared.

The Foundation handles all of the financial aspects to help us infuse some of our enduring enthusiasm into a student or teacher in the Amphitheater School system. Please look up the Foundation and give as you can in order to create a "beautiful Arizona Sunrise for students and/or teachers so they too can enjpy what we shared those many years ago.

May the passage of time be kind to you - may you be kind to those with whom you interact. In this day and age we all live in glass houses - especially if you use social media! I hope the Reunion Committee is already planning the Reunion of 2029!!!
